Hello, I was looking for a new mouse and came across the Corsair Vengeance M60 mouse, and I really liked it. It was on sale for $40 too. I just want to know if it will work on Mac OSX Lion. The Corsair M65 RGB ($74.99) is the newest gaming mouse from the company. Corsair has a pretty clear strategy with its latest crop of gaming peripherals: 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.'
Hey guys, so I have an idea to install Mac OSx Yosemite (hackintosh) on my custom build pc for work (programing, photoshop, after effects, etc.). But I like to play games like GTA 5 sometimes (like twice a week). I heard that people who have their macbooks use virtual pc software to play games on windows, and getting solid 60fps. I want to ask you - do you think this is a good idea?
Now I`am using windows, but I have to worry about stuff like malware, cache files, and other stuff that makes my pc slow after month of usage. If that is what a month of usage does to a computer when you're at the keyboard and mouse, you need to educate yourself on how to use the internet properly and safely. I don't run any security software on my home PCs which are used solely by myself.
They ARE used for everything inclusive of porn viewing and I never have issues with Malware or other undesired crap slowing my machine down. By all means proceed with the Hackintosh project, it's cool. But, don't believe the hype that Mac users shouldn't have to worry about safeguarding themselves. Be advised that no all hardware is supported in OS X, and there are no driver updates for your graphics card, even if it is supported. The best advice I can give you is to dual boot on your Mac.
GTA V can run on integrated graphics, and it is generally playable on the GT graphics found in iMacs. Guys, it's not only porn that has malware. Emails can contain malware, as can just shady websites(using exploits). Honestly, if you are actually doing all that stuff for work, buy a macbook? Since it's work, maybe the cost can be covered, or subsidized by your company (again, since you claim it's for work).
If not, I wouldn't bother, and I would look for alternatives to the programs you want to use. If you reeeeallly want a nice programmable, dual-booting environment, check out a Unix distro. Elementary OS looks very similar to OS X and runs extremely smooth.
